Dear USTCAF Members,

The success of USTC Alumni Foundation in the past 10
years directly attributes to your generosity and
volunteer work of more than 100 past and current
Governing Board members elected by USTCAF members
including you.

It is time again to elect the 2006 Governing Board
(GB) of 10-20 AF members. Please join us for the
exciting opportunity that you can make an impact
beyond yourself in your life. 

*** What you will be doing ***

As a GB member, you have the opportunity to lead or
contribute to one or several AF tasks and duties,
including but not limited to:
- Fundraising;
- Public Relations;
- Web administration;
- Fund Management/Accounting;
- Scholarship/Award Program Management;
- USTC Liaison;
- Alumni Networking etc.

*** What you will gain from this experience ***

organization
- Make an impact beyond yourself!

- Help build a stronger brand that you will benefit

- Network with USTC leaders and active AF members

*** Basic Criteria for Candidates ***

1. Your first donation of at least $15 has to be made
before July 1st, 2005; 
2. If you are not yet a lifetime member (with at least
$125 one time donation or $175 accumulative donation),
you have to make sure you made at least $15 donation
between Jan 1st, 2005 and Dec 31, 2005.

We encourage you to submit a short statement before
December 31, 2005 to the Chair of the Election
Committee Zhang, Shangyou (771) at szhang-AT-udel.edu

The statement should include --
1. Your name and USTC class number;
2. Your email address;
3. Your short bio;
4. Your reason why people should elect you.

2005 has been a great year for USTCAF with 58k
donations to date and the milestone of 500k total
donations. With the momentum, 2006 looks like another
exciting year. Please join us at this exciting moment.
