Season's greetings!

On behalf of the Governing Board of the USTC Alumni
Foundation, I would like to share with you a great
progress, and thank you for continuously supporting us
in the past 10 years.

On December 3rd, 2005, the total contribution received
by USTC Alumni Foundation has surpassed the milestone
of HALF MILLION US DOLLARS (up to 12/5/2005, the total
has reached US$502,865 to be exact. For more details,

Thank you for being part of the history and you have
every reason to be proud of it. We, thousands of
USTCers, together have made a difference in our effort
to build a greater USTC. 

Your generosity has been and will continue being
essential to help USTCAF reaching high potential in
helping USTC. Without your help, we couldn抰 help
sponsoring those financially-challenged talents;
without your help, we couldn抰 help recruiting those
young brilliant minds; without your help, we couldn抰
help improving the teaching quality; without your
help, we couldn抰 help building a great brand name
that you carry for life. 

The winter is chilly here in Chicago, I feel, however,
greatly warmed in my heart by this little news, and I
hope you will feel the same way as I do. Please feel
free to share this great news with all your USTC
friends, and celebrate what a difference we together
have made!
